KEPHIS News & Events

Our attention has been drawn to some fraudulent individuals/agencies approaching job seekers through phone calls, WhatsApp and other social media sites promising them jobs at KEPHIS. These individuals claim to be staff of KEPHIS and are using fake KEPHIS emails to lure unsuspecting job seekers.

Furthermore, the fraudulent individuals are demanding money in pretense of offering assistance with processing of clearance certificates as part of the recruitment process. We wish to inform members of the public that the job postings are FAKE and the fraudsters are not staff of KEPHIS. KEPHIS does not charge for any job application neither does it engage individuals to conduct hiring of staff on its behalf or offer any assistance in obtaining clearance certificates. Any current or future vacancies are placed on our careers page from our official website (www.kephis.org), our social media platforms: twitter (@Kephiske), Facebook (Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service – KEPHIS) and newspapers of national wide circulation.

We urge members of the public to always to confirm any job posting with our official website and, in the event that they encounter such fraudsters, report it to the nearest police station.
