KEPHIS Board Chairman Mr. Robin Achoki officially commissioned three new vehicles at headquarters which will be used for field work as KEPHIS executes her mandate of seed certification, protection of plant varieties and analyses of agricultural inputs and produce through her globally accredited laboratories. The Corporation covers approximately 50,000 kilometres yearly hence requiring vehicles in good working condition which ferry officers on assignments. KEPHIS, being an agriculture based institution, has regional offices countrywide in various counties. This requires visits to farms, to farmers and work with various stakeholders in the agriculture sector and other allied sectors.
