KEPHIS Headquarters, Nairobi - Kenya's Ambassador to Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar H.E. Lindsay Kiptiness today paid a courtesy call to KEPHIS MD Prof. Theophilus Mutui where they discussed areas in which the Organization can deepen cooperation with the five Asian nations in the areas of Sanitary and Phytosanitary(SPS) requirements. They also discussed expanding market access of Kenya's acclaimed horticultural produce including coffee, avocado, passion fruit, macadamia, tea and flowers and other areas of plant health. Present during the meeting was GM Phytosanitary Services Dr. Isaac Macharia and the Head of Seed Certification and Plant Variety Protection Mr. Simon Maina.
